Because most people don’t have time to read to many details about the products that they are interested in, we have created a very short video that explains what we are all about.
You can see our video here:

We got our first review in, you can read it here: http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=1182009&highlight=vpsnodebox

  • Wow that video was amazing!

This is the first one i've seen advertised for a VPS company, nice work!

  • Thanks allot, we really appreciate the kind comments.
    Here is one more:

We are also working on a 3rd video that explains a bit more how Xen and Virtualization work. The main thing do is that we have to make it fun and entertaining :)

Also great company (http://www.vpsnodebox.com/about-us) introduction. Much above standard copy/pasted DC introduction with "we're here to bring best, yada, yada.." crap I see with most other providers.

  • I had that video template, but I could never get to work.

  • @bijan588 We're also active on Envato under ThemeNodeBox. For the videos we use a 64GB six core Xeon workstation :)

Where is this VPS - your site seems to start @ 256MB packages.

  • @JoeMerit Because one of the most expensive resources for VPS servers is RAM, that's a baseline comparison. This way a 1GB Xen VPS is under $10, a 2GB is under $20 and so on. It's meant to give potential customers an idea about what they will pay for each 0.1GB of RAM.

@Spirit Well, it seems that way :P - Now in all honesty, we have followed the guidelines created by the LET staff for posting offers. It's a single offer for a 512MB VPS. Everything else is optional, and can be either considered or disregarded by any potential customer :)

PS: I was reading his post and saw that he was trying to sell dedicated servers and what not. Again, we have only listed one package. For the rest we may as well have said something like "Please visit our site for more offers" - or something along those lines.

  • Running serverbears benchmark stay tuned :D

  • @Zen - This offer is for our Xen VPS servers. I apologize that we don't have the VPS ads ready yet. The Cloud services market is a much broader one at the moment. Thank you for your comment. :)

  • I love it! Well done! Great website, videos, and offers.

Very unique. Best of luck and I hope everything works out for you :)

@EricCubixCloud - Thank you very much, I appreciate the positive remarks :) Right back at you, your site looks really good as well :)

@Sashi - I knew I should have placed you on an empty node :P Just joking, I hope that you'll be satisfied with the results. If not, please let us know.
Update: Just saw your comment. Could you please try to run it again?

  • Hehe, I'll use this as my "test" vps, to test all my stuff on

  • @Sashi - You can use it for what ever you want, it's yours after all :) We will also offer KVM VPS servers with SSD drives in the very near future, so stay tuned.

  • Any Benchmark? IOPs?

  • @toratekdotnet said: your site looks really good as well :)

Thanks! Keep us updated on this. I think I will purchase :)

  • @EricCubixCloud Will do, thanks and take care :)

@Sashi Did you run the command as sudo?

Run: "Shell Scripts (1 concurrent)": /root/UnixBench-5.1.3/pgms/tst.sh: 17: cannot open sort.rc: No such file; aborting

If you want to give me a temp login to a box I can troubleshoot. Normally not a good sign if UB is failing ;)

  • @Sashi and @serverbear - Please submit a ticket / support request at [email protected]

We roll our own Xen PV templates, but if there is anything wrong with any of the templates we want to fix it asap. Thank you.

  • @serverbear erm... I ran it as root hehe

  • @Sashi I've only seen this error happen once before over on this review: http://www.96mb.com/96mb-low-end-vps-review-part-xiii-ionvm/

    Not sure of the cause.

  • @serverbear.. well I don't really really care haha. but I'll submit a support ticket

  • @Sashi I will reply to your ticket. We ran the same benchmark on a VPS 2048 plan and had no isses. Same OS (Debian Squeeze 6.0, 32bit). When you ran the benchmark it ran out of RAM basically because each VPS plan comes with all 8 threads (8 vCPUs) enabled, so when running the multithreaded UnixBench it takes up more RAM than the single threaded benchmark (you're on the VPS 512 plan).
I hope that this makes sense.

    Here are our results: http://serverbear.com/benchmark/2012/08/15/atd0Q08QaMsoUgNJ

    Thanked by 1serverbear
