Looking for a VPS for a self hosted website monitoring service.

Hi,

I would like to know if a VPS (regardless of its virtualization) is available for only between $0.99-$2.00? I am just going to use it to monitor my other sites. Probably, I will install Nagios or these tools http://www.servermom.org/free-self-hosted-server-monitoring-tools/1824/

Thanks.

  • A month? A year? A decade?
No real specifications but yes there are. Check out the links in my sig

  • A month, please. If it is going to be a year, that would be great.

I love your offer, but hopefully if you can lower the prices down for the yearly basis, that would be great. I can only pay in monthly basis for now. And I'll be paying in U.S dollars. 512 MB of RAM is great with vSwap too. For the space, I don't know how much does website monitoring scripts consume, as well as the operating system itself. I don't know if 5 GB would be a good idea but seriously, great offer. If you can only tweak them a bit though. The monitoring service will be light and won't disrupt your services.

Thanks for the offer. But, hopefully yes, if you can lower down the price per year, that would be awesome. I can only pay per month, not annually, for now. It is okay if you give me a non-KVM host because I will only be using it as a monitoring service for my sites. I find Uptime Robot and other website monitoring services expensive that is why I decided to host my own. To be safe since I am planning to use CentOS, a 512 MB of RAM would be great. Regardless of the location of the server. For the space, I will be installing the operating system and of course the script as well, including the server stuff, php, because I'll be using a script in order to install the monitoring service.

  • Sorry unfortunately those are the lowest prices i can do, they are a great offer. and are yearly. under $9 for both of them.

  • € 5.50 /yr is an unbeatable deal. Unless you wish to consider CloudAtCost's $35.00 one-time and keep the VPS Forever unrealistic too-good-to-be-true deal.

Yeah, but I really find it really cheap (the monthly option) though.

Thanks, but I'm sorry, I really need more RAM. 512-1024 of RAM would be great.> @TinyTunnel_Tom said:

Yup, at least 512-1024 of RAM. Thanks though.

Nope, not a cluster error. It's a mistake on the poster's end.
