Own Dynamic DNS
I currently have a DynDNS account, which I'm now paying for.
It's been working well for me, but I'd like to try to set up my own dynamic DNS system, mainly for myself.
I registered a short DNS related domain, and I'm trying to figure out how I can set something up using that domain.
I've seen that there are ways to get it working with CloudFlare, but I'd like to possibly be able to have separate credentials for separate subdomains, so that I don't have to give the credentials for my CloudFlare account to anyone using a hostname. I can always set up a separate CloudFlare account if necessary, if that's the best option.
Any recommendations for what would be the best option to use?
And I don't mind paying something, if that's the best way to go...
Thanks a lot!

This is actually really easy. Here's an example using DigitalOcean: https://github.com/damianmoore/django-dynamic-dns
take look at https://github.com/skx/dhcp.io/ I've used that for few month.
Will these both allow unlimited hostnames?
And would I putsomething like this on a standalone server? Or on a server used for other things, with something like cPanel?
yups, unlimited, but I've test for 100 hostname only
no problem. But I prefer use ddns server on standalone server.
Thanks!
Only thing I don't love is securing a server, having cPanel on there already and being locked down makes it much easier for me.
