After I finished registration, it seems I need to deposit 2 rupee....
"An amount of Rs.2/- would be deducted from your Bank Account for verification."
Here from India i signed up even without cc. works fine for me
According to the pricing sheet http://www.ctrl4c.com/compute-instances.php
the cheapest 4 INR per hour instance comes out to about 46 USD per month; no way I'd pay that, so not sure I want to bother giving them my details etc, just for a free month.
I used the password sent from my email, then clicked "Deploy Your Cloud" and got redirected to the payment page. I cannot proceed any further. Going back to the management portal does not help as it said "User not found in our database". This means that I must proceed with the payment in order for the account to be activated.
I guess it only works in India without payment? I live in Australia and used an Australian mobile for the registration process.
Also, the price is pretty high for their lowest elastic virtual machine/compute but it would be nice to play around with a virtual machine if no payment is required.
