Hi
Just would like to know,is it possible for me to setup an OpenVZ node for LAN use ?
If yes, then how can the user connect to their VPS ? i meant, using what ip ? do i have to assign a LAN ip to each of the VPS ?
thanks

You can do like most providers and offer public and private (LAN) IP addresses but it would require you to have 2 VPS servers with 2 private LAN IP addresses to utilize the LAN.

  • I try this when I still playing with VMWare long time ago.
Yes, just set each VM with each IP, Netmask and gateway.

Then you can ping / connect to them

  • Yea, just use your internal network (192.168 or 10, look in your router)
