Hello anyone have same problem with me? with msg

Using username "admin".
Server refused our key
[email protected]'s password:

already try delete and add back the Key but still with the same msg server refused our key? there still have a live server that i cannot access because this problem , and when i try create new server the key also cannot be use. Support them there not very friendly and close the ticket without i can reply

any friends or expert can help?

i'm sure my key is correct because i'm using the Putty key Generator

any help is appreciated ( sorry for my low english )

  • Did you uploaded your putty key to runabove?.

  • yes i did

  • Most probably there are something with key itself or with generator.

    Try to generate it via linux (ssh-keygen). I can also help with remote access now, if you feels it's OK.

  • Putty key may not work if you uploaded after create VPS.

  • If I recall correctly putty is using a special format for its keys. Generate one with ssh-keygen and it should work.

    Putty only has its own format for private keys. It doesn't matter whether you generate public key with ssh-keygen or puttygen.

    Make sure that your SSH key is in the same region (CA/FR) with your VPS instance. Also check if you're actually using "key auth" and have selected the path to your private key in your Putty config.

  • Hi all thanks for helping with any solutions . i just delete all the server and recreate back and add the new key then give the root password to make sure this will not happen again ( then i delete the default admin with ssh key )
