holderhost.com was originally founded, by me (Sam Hambling), on July 16 2012 so we are over two years old. Plato Puthur came on board last year as an equal partner in holderhost. We are a registered company in New Zealand.
Who are we?
-Sam Hambling (me): I've been a webmaster since 2010. I currently own a charity website called thebookstore.co.nz and vpnfree.in. I am studying toward a BCom/BA at Auckland University with my BA majoring in logic and computation (which is logic philosophy and computer science).
-Plato Puthur: Plato is a successful webmaster and programmer. He owns the popular technology blog technewscentral.co.uk and the viral site CoolFacts.in which has its own Android application. Plato has also programmed a couple of small Xenforo modifications and a Wordpress plugin.

Just a couple questions:
The business has been running since 2012 but we didn't incorporate it until 2014. There isn't really any "reason", that's just how it happened. You can run as a sole proprietorship or partnership in NZ quite comfortably.
Yes, Plato is based in India. Benefit of running on the Web is that you can connect with people around the world. I couldn't think of anyone else I would rather be running this business with. I have friends that could probably run the business/finance side and I could possibly find someone who is a good server admin/ programmer to run this with but Plato joined in 2013 because he understands the web economy. Being based in different timezones also has it's advantages.
