OpenVZ NAT guide
Has anyone got a step by step guide for setting up OVZ from scratch using NAT? Even more specifically on a Kimsufi server.
I am looking for a guide aimed at young people that have basic linux experience, so it needs to be more than just "check out this link".
It's a young offenders project and I am trying to set them some additional goals hence there needs to be some explanation around what they are doing than just doing if that makes sense.
If I need to I will write something myself but I am sure there is something out there, I just can't find it.
Cheers

Check out this link, https://vpsaddicted.com/install-and-configure-proxmox-ve-for-nat-ipv4-vps-on-debian-wheezy/
You can skip the proxmox part, and install ovz kernel not pve one - just follow step 3 for nat/ip setup.
http://openvz.org/Using_NAT_for_container_with_private_IPs is a basic guide, but it's not as in depth and assumes you have a working openvz setup (using http://openvz.org/Quick_installation ).
Here
Note: will probably be changing the domain name and finishing the site in the next few days
@0xdragon No, like I say I am not looking for a discussion, it's an actual guide from scratch. More like something you would get if for example you were in a class and got a handout explaining the topic.
I have a stop by step tutorial with commands and explanations on a CentOS LAMP stack if that's helpful I can provide that via PM.
Thanks that has been covered in the course so far.

Thanks, thats the kind of idea.
I would try to use that great and rarely used feature OVZ has, the veth. The advantage would be that it would apply to other setups as well.
I set up VPS's that work with NAT. Now how do I assign public IPv4 addresses to the containers? They are all on eth0 on my host system and adding one of them with vzctl to the container does nothing.
Good point, veth is a very under rated element.
