[IPXCORE] Thank you, LET! 256mb OVZ for $1.75/month!
This offer is our way of saying "thank you!" to the LET community for supporting us during our difficult time earlier this month (the entire event is described in detail in http://www.lowendtalk.com/discussion/3473/ipxcore ).
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Adam and I have been doing Internet services since 2003 as Digital Design Core. We moved into the VPS market in May of 2011 as IPXcore. We started this because we were on a BurstNET node that kept getting oversold, and we were unable to get any form of support. We decided that we could do better.
We have recently added Harley and Will to our support staff, bringing our total up to 5.
Due to complications with our prior datacenter, we have moved all of our equipment to Buffalo, NY, in Colocrossing's datacenter there. Colocrossing Buffalo is currently using Level 3 exclusively, with other providers being laid down right now.
We're running OpenVZ virtualization on our very own Dell, HP, and Supermicro Opteron-powered hardware.
All server nodes have 100mbit connection, sharing a 1gbit uplink.
This months' support ticket response time median: 0 Day(s) 0 Hour(s) 42 Minute(s) and 53 Second(s)

You're the man @Damian.
odered one.instant setup.
really good.
Speaking of which, that brings up a point of our service: orders are instant-setup, however, all orders are audited and verified for fraud manually.
I'm a poster # 900
is there any bonus for that?
can i pay it yearly? or should i pay it in upfront?
ps: will be new client so please verify my account quickly :P
seriously? Mine was like instant-setup, too :P
That's a cool way how to do it...
@Damian questions:
Why would one want vSwap instead?
Thanks for your fine offer!
nLayer SJC? The nodes are being moved again? I haven't been following the last post recently; sorry for asking.
Memory management.
@Damian I have another VPS with similar price, can I get upgraded to this one? Or I must order and cancel the other one later :P
Maybe poster 1000th gets one free
Ehhh what?
Yeah, all plans can be upgraded/downgraded to any other plan. Open a support ticket and we'll get you going.
@Damian question2:
I am not familiar with burst or vSwap. With 320mb burst, do you mean burst to 320mb (which is 64 mb burst) or 320mb extra burst on the 256 mb?
Burst to 320mb. So 320mb total.
Burst = 256mb guar with 64mb extra for burst = 320mb total
Vswap = 256mb guar with 64mb vswap = 256mb total with 64mb swap
...as Linux would see it anyway.
I would always choose the one with vswap
Vswap = 256mb guar with 64mb vswap = 256mb total with 64mb swap
Thanks! I still would figure out what to prefer.
Why?
The one with vswap reports less memory consumption than the one with burst. Burst OVZ usually double than the one with vswap.
FYI, webserver's getting a bit hammered at the moment.
Hmm, considering to upgrade my 32mb plan to this one. Wonder if its possible, as @Damian mentioned above. still thinking
yeah the page wont load.. must be a lot of orders!!
Same here.
More FYI: I'd also recommend not paying with Payza. Ever since they changed from Alertpay->Payza, funds have been getting put on hold for days.
16 days!
Ugh so tempted
Can't really skip this offer. PING from home ranges from 15-25ms! Sent you a PM @Damian
Thanks!
Thaaanks! Getting one
How much for additional disk space? Is it possible?
Test IP is a nLayer IP and traceroute reveals it to be a node in SJC?
You made a typo, it should be 198.144.190.10
It's $0.03 per GB, it's possible, they added 20 GB to my vps.
that is so cheap
