Sounds good.
Don't tell me what to do!
Hey! My nickname isn't Obvious!
I need a better Windows IRC client. Any suggestions? Has to be free (so no mIRC or Xchat), have a GUI (so no irssi), not be tied to a browser (so no webchat and Chatzilla), and has to be a serious IRC client (so no damn Pidgin).
Nettalk? Only thing annoying is that its press spacebar or enter to complete and not tab.
X-Chat2 - http://www.silverex.org/download/
I will try both. X-Chat2 first, due to the autocomplete. Thanks.
It appears that X-Chat2 hasn't been updated since early 2009. If you want a free Windows build of XChat, I'd recommend HexChat (previously known as XChat-WDK)

(Or you could put on your pirate hat and go get mIRC....)
Or you can use Nettalk! @joepie91 introduced me to it and its been pretty good.
@jarland DO EET NOAH!
That's more something to get used to, really... tab is used for selecting the next in the list, space/enter is used for confirmation (depending on whether you want to immediately send or type some other stuff). Took me about a week to get used to that as well, now I can really quickly tabcomplete to the correct user, even in busy channels, in under a second.
