KVM ISO's
As were getting ready to launch our SSD KVM VPS's I was wondering if anyone had any requests for ISO's to be included on the system.
Right now I'm looking at
CentOS 5x 6x
Ubuntu Latest LTS, and latest releases so 12.04 and last year's 11.xx until later this year for 12.10 or whatever.
Debian Latest
Scientific 5x 6x

While we were doing our KVM testing, we received a couple of requests for Arch linux and someone requested windows as well. So you might want to add these as well
Since it is KVM *BSD would be also interesting?
I think the most popular is FreeBSD, but NETBSD and OpenBSD is interestimg as well.
FreeBSD 9.0 x86 and x86_64
System Rescue CD is a must
Some PBX, I find Elastix about the easiest for noobs wile feature packed
Minimal installs would be nice (specifically CentOS). I don't understand why hosts don't include minimum install ISOs..
I like minimum installs too, easy on disk space and install what you need. Gets you up and going quickly.
I'lll make a note
*BSD
Arch
Windows - have to figure out licensing, or make it BYOL
Which System Rescue CD? Knoppix? or is there a BSD specific one.
PBX Software if it comes as an ISO, templates will take time to do.
So do I, I get different answers from everywhere I ask.. I really need someone to explain the whole SPLA program to me, including DC licenses and etc.
I already suggested Elastix
System Rescue CD http://www.sysresccd.org/SystemRescueCd_Homepage
I did not know Elastix was a ISO Distribution
latest arch, freebsd, ubuntu 11.04 would be great as well.
also please look into virtio for your kvm vps's
It's time to contact SPLA reseller (http://www.microsoft.com/hosting/en/us/licensing/splahowto.aspx) probabaly?
AFAIK there's no such thing as "BYOL" when it comes to SPLA, except the condition that the customer leases the entire server. But well, SPLA terms are pretty messy, I guess it's best to get an answer from their resellers.
