Cheap and powerful (lots of RAM >= 4GB, and CPU) VPS alternative to Waveride.at
Hi,
I've been using Waveride with good results for the last year, but lately they've started shutting down my server for "excessive resource utilization". Making matters worse is that I can't really tell what's causing this, and neither can they (or they won't, because of "no support") and I'm beginning to suspect it may be their fault. Even worse, they're taking longer and longer to restart my container and answer the emergency ticket (now 2+ days and counting).
As a result I want to see what alternatives I have in case I decide (likely) I will have to move away. Can you please suggest an alternative? Must be extremely cheap (<= 5 EUR preferably) for >= 4 GB RAM and decent CPU - to make this possible I accept a "no support" stance but within reason (not being shut down without explanation and then kept in limbo for days).
Thanks!

VpsDime?
Looks good this one. Any others?
We've got a 4 GB RAM plan for $7 (OpenVZ) https://crowncloud.net/openvz.php
wable? I guess their powerboost is still working
Yep, it is. http://wable.com/?powerboost=1.
You first have to buy the bundle and login though
+1 for VPSDime, no one can beat them at that price.
I recommend Overzold, but I think no stock. I have good results using them.
Believe it or not, that has the most rolling stock of all our plans, maybe because people do not look for something stable in the long term and just need test boxes for various things.
This means that, while stock might not be on now, every couple of days there is some, even for other people than current customers.
You could try MikroVPS http://lowendtalk.com/discussion/38413/cyber-monday-50-off-from-our-plans-in-eu#latest
Hi @Moobits,
I was most likely the one who answered your ticket. Can you please send me your email address via private message or open a ticket with a link to this thread so I can check this again?
Thanks and have a nice day!
