I would recommend LES for this, as they have many diverse locations (but not XEN AFAIK)

@DrServer has Xen, but I don't know if he has the locations you want.

Noob question : How do DNS servers utilize more ram?
What do they use it for? (what's the scale-up variable? # of Zones?)
I second onepound's xen, especially with latest yearly offer.

Simple answer:

You can cache all the zones in RAM.

Complicated answer:

DNS is not just a single server, it's a forest. There are also multiple directions to DNS, so it's worth noting that a DNS server could be hosting more than the zones you are authorized to speak for (such as being a local DNS relay or cache.)
