Huge list of 'Collision' domains to be released today.

There are a few good ones that are still available as of now

  • My gosh that's a huge list.

  • That's a horrible way to release a list. But probably intentional.

  • Most of the domains are long numeric words.

  • Most of those names really suck!

Anyway, I don't really see the point with .xyz and all those new cash machines tld...

You hit the point, they are cash machines, just not for us.

  • It' one of the worst TLD based on domainers voting ;)

  • But it has the most registrations out of the new TLDs, with over 730,000 domains according to http://ntldstats.com/

True, but most likely due to promotional pricing - I got most of my 500+ .XYZs for less than $1.50. This said, it's no worse (or better) than the likes of .BIZ or .INFO. And last but not least: fabulous names still available for registration, at least until recently.

  • Surely co.com must be an even bigger scam than .xyz?

While I would be hard pressed to register any .CO.COM domain, "scam" implies fraudelent activity. What fraud are you alleging?

By "scam", I mean clever marketing tactic to lure in suckers who don't know any better.
