Gogetssl has some cheap ones, https://cheapsslsecurity.com/ also has some cheap ones
Huh, didn't know this - BLACKFRIDAY2014 50% off code at gogetssl. It runs out today
Means you could get the Comodo Trial EV cert for just $20
https://www.startssl.com/ is the fairest the I know of.
Delimiter was giving away Comodo certs on their servers. I think you can also buy them from there today for $5-6.
https://www.gogetssl.com/symantec-ssl-certificates/symantec-secure-site-ssl/
why is Symantec charging this insane amount of $$ just for a certificate? what does make it special? is it just all about the brand name?
no thanks, i got a bad first impression of delimiter. in the past i ordered a cheap dedi and forgot to turn off my vpn, my order got flagged and my account glitched out (couldn't login anymore or create a new account.) Contacting support through email was useless - they just ignore. f* that.
@Mark_R
Namecheap has been running 98cent SSL certs with ComodoSSL throughout the day. Would that work for you?
@Mark_R Best regular pricing for an SSL I've found is from Crissic. $5/yr for PositiveSSL - which is cheaper than GoGetSSL.
I can recommend @drServer. You can get PositiveSSL for 4.70$ https://drserver.net/drbill/index.php?/cart/ssl-certificates/
Comodo Positive SSL $0.98 @ Namecheap.
+1 on startssl... been with them for almost two years now with about 10 domains... two digit price tag for unlimited wildcard class 2 certificate for a year is pretty fair imo... personal validation is pretty painless, create an account, get a personal cert, pay the invoice, send them first pages of passport and drivers license, done...
ofc I don't use EV so this is enough for me....
I believe the GoGetSSL-branded SSLs are 4 bucks a year.
@Microlinux I meant PositiveSSL pricing - I think they're like $5.65/yr. But it seems @drserver is even cheaper.
@Mark_R NameCheap $0.98 SSL certs are back in ~2 hours (7 pacific, 10 eastern). 1000 coupons available.
Does anyone know if you can get more than one of the .98 SSLs from Namecheap?
You can get 5
While they may be cheap they run out of stock quick... Waited a month for mine then mysteriously got a refund....
@ATHK I ordered my PositiveSSL certificate from @drServer few days ago and it was available for me right away after payment. I did had a problem with getting verification email from Comodo, but it was a problem with my mail server, nothing to do with drServer.
I didn't get anything I believe it was because they ran out of stock when I order, I was only notified when I contacted them. Waited a month and got a refund without asking me if I wanted the cert or not.
It's not like it was a terrible experience for me, I got my money back I'm happy.. I just bought one elsewhere.
why not try us? https://www.issl.asia
alright so if i purchase this https://www.gogetssl.com/comodo-ssl-certificates/comodo-positive-ssl/
will it be locked on just my domain name or does it care about the A records (ip adresses) ? i will use multiple domains +subdomains in the background to deliver content.
It will not be tied to any IP, only the hostname (domain name) that you use while generating the CSR.
@mycloud may help you out
He has some amazing deals on ssl
