Comments
why not contact ur provider. whats the worst that could happen.
Yes contact ur provider this is very bad. Kappa
What's exactly slow about those speed tests? Why would you even need more than that?
That speed isn't bad at all. I wouldn't bother contacting your host. Nothing wrong with those speeds.
Is it? Seems kind of average to me on a few of my boxes...
Pretty sure that was a sarcastic response to what seems like a joke thread.
not bad at all.. I/O speed is good too. No need to worry.
I wouldn't complain about those speeds, more than enough for most peoples needs.
io speed is good.. but download speed is worse than LEB vps speed
thanks
Which one is slow and why do you say so?
Nothing is wrong with those speeds.....
Why do you need so fast speed? Even Kimsufi dedi just has 100 Mbps
It blows me away that anyone could consider these results 'slow'.
What I consider slow is a hugely overloaded box that hinders my ability to do stuff. If I have to wait 30 seconds to run a command, or if my downloads start stuttering because disk i/o can't keep up.. then I have a problem.
Seems pretty average for me. Fit for for the location, but atlanta on par with singapore is not right.
@nocker
Compared to what? Another VPS in the same location, same port speed?
It looks absolutely fine to me, as Mao says Atlanta and Singapore on a par is a bit odd but that could just be a glitch, run it again.
@Maounique I get random numbers from that test all the time. Colo@ seems to have super shitty routes. I've seen 30MB/s from that test in Europe, and <10MB/s in Dallas. Tons of factors at play, but that one seems to be consistently shit.
Yeah, NL test sites are consistent, and not only for EU areas, while most US ones are fluctuating. Overall, I see the network in EU more stable and less convoluted than the one in US, but might be a biased view.
I think that's fair to say. I see whacky routes on some US boxes, definitely more consistency in EU.
You tell us, we don't know what your application requires.
There is nothing wrong with the speeds you have posted. Though not sure why people measure download speeds anyway, they can often vary to actual upload speeds.
