Hi LET community, i need sugestion about Paid VPN services, yes paid one since m lazy to build my own vpn and like more location to choose. please dont tell me to buy vps and setup.

looking for yearly plan ~$50 budget

currently im using Private Internet Access (PIA) for 11 month, for some reason sometimes i think PIA slow down my connection or just unstable, maybe its time to move...

    PIA uses some nice ISPs and some crappy ones too, depending on the location.

    No one can suggest you a provider which will offer you excellent performance all around the world, but knowing your actual location would help.

  • I highly recommend http://www.securitykiss.com/pricing/ & http://www.cyberghostvpn.com/en_us both are high speed and reliable.

    You mentioned that PIA seems slow or unstable, maybe it is your own internet provider that causes problems - try analyzing if there are any problems first before spending more $$ on another vpn service.

  • I notice that, there is auto connect based on nearest location/ping but still sometimes its drop my actual speed, any other recommendation?

    im thinking about ipvanish, higher yearly price, more locations to pick, but they only allow 2 connection (1 desktop and 1 mobile)

    any good review?

  • @rokok

    If you use the vpn for Torrent or P2P purposes then you have to be extra careful with selecting a vpn provider! some providers do block/limit the bittorrent protocol. the providers i did recommend in my previous post do allow torrent with no restrictions.

    https://airvpn.org/ and they are having a Black Friday deal with 35% off, so is only 35 Euro's a year.

    Promo Code is BestVPN_AirVPN

    They have no download limits, they have a great network with (I think 50+ p.o.p).

    Slightly over your budget (unless you take their 2-year Black Friday offer at $99.95), but Astrill are consistently one of the fastest VPN providers around.

    no, i don't use for torrent at all.

    i just want the fastest and more easy + convenience software / app :)

  • Test out VyprVPN. I did the 3 day free trial and was super impressed. I also love their software, Mac app + Android apps are the best VPN apps I've used. I wish they sold them so I could connect using them to my own OpenVPN servers.

    Also shit and sponsored.

    NEVER trust "best vpn service" websites/articles, 90%+ of them are sponsored reviews and thus entirely useless.

    I've been using AirVPN for a while now. They have a lot of servers around the world and the speed / latency isn't a problem (at least for me).

    They're not cheap tho.

    I would explicitly recommend against CyberGhost. They're extremely shady. Shilling for their own services on forums and all - actually caught them on it here at some point, iirc. I reported it and I think it got removed.

    @rokok I don't know what you're trying to use a VPN for, but please keep in mind that a VPN does not and cannot provide "security", "privacy" or "anonymity". By design, the VPN provider can see all your traffic, and know that it originates from you. "No logging" is likely a lie, and even if it isn't, there's no way for you to verify it.

    VPNs were never designed to provide this kind of service, and they are really only useful in situations where you're on a certainly-untrusted network (eg. a coffeeshop wi-fi). Almost the entire VPN industry is built on lies.

    EDIT: And anybody trying to tell you otherwise without an extensive threat model, is either clueless, trying to sell you something, or both. With a bit of knowledge of the technology, it's not hard to understand why it cannot work.

    This. They are reliable and fast, have 60+ servers that you can see the current demand on and the only areas they dont have any servers is in South America or Africa. Been with them for over 2 years and always have been very reliable. You wont find them on top 10 websites etc as the guy who runs it is a bit of a privacy hippy who cares more about quality of product than marketing.

    god damn just noticed this is a necro thread.

    Hi there,

    check out: https://www.anonymousvpn.eu/

    Been with them for about 3 years. I can max out my home connection at 60Mbps often times. They have crap loads of servers and Ip's to give. Never had an issue with them and they have plenty of packages for you. Also they run yearly deals around jan 15th every year :}

    This kinda old thread, I'm with AirVPN now.

    I better leave some reviews about PIA, many use them, because it's considered the cheapest, and backed by community (you'll get many good review on reddit). Featured on torrentfreak every quarter (TF affiliate), on PIA forum many contribute - mostly bugs. The last one I notice was windows installer use temp directory changing every reboot etc etc. Bugs and troubleshooting the most.

    About PIA support: so so L3 cs yes mam yes sir please refer to this url please.

    PIA clients is crap although it's working, windows buggy, mac app is okayis since I didn't spend lots on my Macbook. Not having native iOS app and importing location and certificate pain In the ass, and their many location servers very crowded just like vps provider overselling the ovz.

    Last note: nothing wrong about PIA if you considering the (yearly) price, but there is many others provide better product/services than PIA. If you compare the app clients, forums support, server stability and privacy policy and other shady thing.

    Sorry bad english, i learn from no smoking cowboy guy

    @sirmbhe Crot Crot ???

  • +1 for PureVPN.com
