CPU is worse, graphics is better and it come with an SSD, still wouldn't trade a MSI for an Asus, 1080€ is a lot of money for a 14" laptop
But, why did bought a that lenovo when you could get such a machine for even a lower price?

I think I'm ordering on of these in the morning.
Older one: http://www.centrecom.com.au/asus-f550ldv-xo870h-156-intel-core-i7-4510u-4gb-ram-1tb-hdd-nvidia-gt-820-2gb-dedicated-graphics-windows-81
Still outside of my budget (<$80)
I can return/cancel at any time. Haven't even been charged for it yet.
Link me to something better? I did a lot of research on it, and nothing else in the <$800 bracket comes close here in Australia.
Nice, but $400 off, which is $800 off on two laptops
Yeah, for your price bracket you've picked the best one. My last laptop I paid $1024 three years ago and the only problem is its battery. I always recommend the $1000-$1500 range for quality and performance.
True, but I only have ~$1600 total to spend on these (educational) laptops for my family.
Dont you have there in Australia a site that compares all the prices on all shops for each item?
Something like this

I'd be a bad person to ask. None of my systems are 'cheap' haha.
Alienware m17x (I'm going to be yelled at for this)
Surface pro 3 for tablet
Seems our Config is Different: http://globalbrand.com.bd/Lenovo-ThinkPad-E440-4th-Gen-Core-i5i
I would buy a Macbook.
tbh the usefulmess of that depends on what he plans to use it for.
What @William said.
@Void_Whisperer Apple makes some of the best notebook hardware, whether or not you plan to run OS X on it is up to you.
It's probably very good hardware, but the price isn't right
Treat yo self.
You should have probably asked this question before buying it...
I just picked up i7-4710HQ 16GB DDR3L 1TB Spinning Disk with 256GB SSD and GeForce 860M for $1,300. Seems expensive as others said. 3-cell battery and mimo etc. 17 inch display. LED 1080p.
You spelt my name wrong!
You won't really get anything cheaper unless you shop around like crazy, stay away from the big boys like harveynorman etc they're a rip off..
I just bought a refurb Dell E4310 for 200 US...it is old but does the job.
Wondering how many of you actually do some heavy duty tasks on a laptop? To me laptop is just mostly for document editing/web browsing purposes and 4 yr laptop does the job
Midnight madness does that to you Sorry mate!
I was asleep anyway, all good.
You could've check out Dell's refurbished site
