    This is a server we have ( running hyper-v ) 202.65.142.170 colo'ed with pioneer elabs ( ctrls )
    in hyderabad.

You think so ? , bandwidth is shit load costly we possily cant even run a C.S server without a ddos protection let alone a CS server need a min of 600 GB bandwidth up + down ( sometimes even more )

Are you freaking kidding me? CS Server needs 600GB? Get your facts straight. I am running multiple L4D2 & CSGO Servers of ranks 40s-100s at gametracker and considering them alone, they barely hit 300GB.

Secondly you are listing consumer price, you might want to check the retail prices and also look for different ISPs, like ACT or similar DTH service. They offer better pricing and peerings (TATA). Uptime is quite amazing as well.

Why post the IP in public?

And those are retail not trade pricing more than likely.

Its where I host one of the game servers so didnt bother.

ACT is the best and cheapest thought they are new ,

( 600gb ) I mentioned because of the http server which people host to update files CSGO hits more and in India apart from ACT rest of them meter uploads too..... not only downloads so that sucks literally.

If you think Indians will purchase your server then first research market requirement before starting any new idea without research.

If you can ship to other country at less price then you will get a many clients from Asian country.

Sounds good. This post is for research purposes only :)

Honestly for me to consider I would want something a little higer spec'd.

Who much would you be wanting for RTO on the updated first post cloudbells

    How about the following:

    CPU model : AMD FX(tm)-4300 Quad-Core Processor

    RAM - 8 GB

    HDD - 500 GB SATA

    RTO Term - 12 months

Price of Transport - as per Fedex(Global)

    Colo after RTO period- $75

Service - Default unmanaged. 4 hour response time.

Customize - Limited to RAM and Harddisk

  • @cloudbells said:

    Slightly more appealing ;)

IMHO no one will transfer from India when they could get the same hardware ( or better ) at around spending 200 extra. The only point of investing in this is its in India. The point of not investing in it is colo / buy pricing will F*** you up because Indian DC are hard to maintain costs are ridiculous ( being an Indian I know pretty well ) so suggest only people with that extra itch in the pocket consider this offer.

Thank you for your feedback. If given a choice would you go for it?

BTW I have a higher CPU in stock - AMD FX(tm)-4300 Quad-Core Processor

  • @cfgguy said:
I think you should go for it. Indian customer base is huge and you dont need overseas customers to make it a success. $75 is nothing if you can host game servers or voice servers or may be vpn.

Thank you. We are working towards it :)

    which dc ?

In house datacenter in New Delhi, India.

Thank you. Would you be willing to shed $90-$130 for this machine in RTO? Not requesting an order just taking honest feedbacks :)

    IPv6

We are getting in a week too. :)

    Name of the DC....

  • @cloudbells said:

Depending on your colo price I'd rather buy hardware and send it to you for colo since I can visit delhi anytime day / night.

If you could RAID1/5 it then I would consider it (again not consent to an order but as near as possible).

why exactly would we not be able to do that especially when we are doing a feedback post on what client are looking for?
    Why so pessimist?

Answer my question about your DC name lol , Do you have a test ip ?

  • I don't like the idea of RTO, how about you keep your old PC's! Without the RTO it would be great.
