How do you manage network abuse (ARF) reports?

I'm curious as to how service providers on here manage network abuse reports.?

Do you do it manually or do you automate it via software/scripts?

  • redirecting incoming reports to 127.0.0.1

  • They are all handled manually on this end. Some reports are false-positive, some are serious, some are old etc... Let alone spam coming to [email protected]. So yeah... Manually works best for us.

  • Previewed manually and tickets created as required for tracking and followup.

  • Thanks for the reply guys. Appreciated.

    Manually review is the best.

I like when spammers send spam directly to abuse@ email address :)

  • If it's obvious abuse such as DoS/some form of flooding that can be spotted on the host node easily then suspend first and ask questions later, especially at this lowend pricing.
