share backup disk to OpenVZ VM

Hi,

As i'm learning on a cheap dedi with Debian+Proxmox, it has 2nd hard-disk which i mounted on server for VM backups.
i created OpenVZ VM and installed Centos+cPanel on it.
Now i want to mount the 2nd hard-disk on the Centos(VM) so that cPanel backups go there also.

Can i mount the 2nd hard-disk on the Centos(VM) also? (hope it'll not clash with the base Debian mount.)

If not, then i read about NFS, then i think i've to move in that direction. correct?

Thanks
