I was planning to seed Linux distros. Too bad.
Cachefly
Disk Speed
The test's above were performed on a VM exactly the same offered on this thread
Yes, too bad indeed.
No User End Control Panel? what does this mean, then how to reinstall system?
no control panel?
no control panel? only centos 6?
We're using ProxMox, it's legacy stuff for us, We've switched to Virtualizor
For OS Reloads on the VM, open a support ticket
Send us an ISO file via private message and or ticket, and we'll load it on the VM and give you VNC access to install the OS
We also have Ubuntu, Debian
any reinstall counts/month limits, or any fees?
any test ip/file? thanks.
No limits, no fees for os reloads
Unmetered 1Gbps port for $10/year? Interesting...
ETA: Out of stock
Tempted, but hmmm..
Any more stock?
Paid but pedding, when can i get my VPS? @nexmark
Will be restocking 24 - 48 Hr
@nexmark when back in stock can I stack 2 or 3 of 'em?
@nexmark From your TOS: "IRC - Hosting Internet Relay Chat Server not authorized by A Small Orange". Do you resell their servers?
Nice: "All Service's We provide that's DDoS Protected have an Uptime SLA of 100%, If your service's go down for more than 45 Minutes you may open a support ticket and request a credit for 2 Weeks."
One small point: while your initial post in this thread mentions that no seedboxes are allowed, your TOS and AUP don't address that. All they say is (overall) no illegal stuff is allowed.
I don't see anything that relates to A Small Orange anywhere in the TOS, if you still see it please quote me on it.
SLA Part is true,
The part of the seedbox part is being added, once the cluster of web servers will sync with the master webserver.
This is the TOS Page cached by Google Oct 22.

Upon ordering, a staff member is to open a support ticket requesting the OS to be installed on the VM, from there you can say the OS you want or give a direct download link to an ISO image you want to be loaded, then with VNC Credentials issued you'll be prompt to install the OS yourself.

I ping 107.191.112.54 have a low delay , and my IP is 104.***** , double delay .
low delay is good, i got 284ms delay. your delay must be low < 100ms ?
I ping 107.191.112.54 from Asia , 167ms , and ping my VPS buy in this , 308ms
That's unfortunate, if you open a ticket, we can look further into this matter.
Our TOS states we have a 3 day refund period, We'll extend that period for you to 7 days
Prior to my post i've done some testing; My latency between the 104 and 107 IP ip block is similar.
Good price for CNservers DDoS Protection IP.
Any restock?
Restocking later today.
What I quoted in my post was a direct copy/paste from your website's TOS (http://nexhost.net/tos.html), so I'm not sure why you don't see it.
That page is legacy
Here's the new one
http://nexhost.net/acceptable-use-policy-aup/
It may be your old TOS (I read both, since some providers have the TOS and AUP as separate documents), but it's the first result on Google when you search for 'nexhost tos' .
