VestaCP broken?

NeoonNeoon Community Contributor, Veteran

Hey,

I tried to install VestaCP on a Online.net Kiracheeeeee running Wheezy.

So, the Installation Script told me the Operating System i am running is not Wheezy or CentOS. So i downloaded directly over wget the Debian install script and forced it, Installation was finished under 15 minutes, Login worked into the VestaCP Panel but Apache/Nginx isnt listening on Port 80 also when i add Domains? wut?

Apache2 and Nginx are running but not listening on Port 80, basically they should?

I've had some oddities like that, especially after restoring Vesta backups on another IP. Thankfully it's fairly easy to fix but mildly annoying.

  • Restart services / reboot? :-P

Vesta's backup restoration definitely isn't perfect. There are posts by the devs on their forum acknowledging some issues.

  • working for me. yesterday I installed vesta CP into 35 VM.

  • I installed VestaCP on Wheezy a couple of days ago withount any issues :)

Reinstall of the Dedi fixed it.
