    I appreciate your time, but after further consideration and our discussion, I realized this project will require a lot more than 100 hours of dev work, and unfortunately my partner and I cannot afford this. At the end of the 100 hours, the software wouldn't be useable, nor profitable, so to make this fair to everyone, I decided it's best you find a new winner.

    I don't think James would ever "steal" an idea from one of us. This community was potentially what helped James succeed with a few of his recent projects, and it doesn't make sense for him to take advantage of his friends / colleagues like that.

    I wouldn't worry -- and gladly shared my unique idea with James and his team :)
