Exact setup SW raid 10 But Low I/o
2 server, Exact setup+ hard drive+ SW Raid 10 4HD
Server -A: dd if=/dev/zero of=test bs=64k count=16k conv=fdatasync = 160MB/s
Server-B: dd if=/dev/zero of=test bs=64k count=16k conv=fdatasync = 90MB/s
mdstat shows Raid as active. Any idea what might have been happening?

Same BIOS setup? DD being done on a volume within the RAID? Chunk sizes/stripe size/readahead all the same?
yes. Exact config. Doing another install. Lets see how it comes out.
hdparm -tT each individual drive and compare the read speeds. Any differences?
What is the output of cat /proc/mdstat on each machine?
I think he already opted to a reinstall so we won't be able to troubleshoot this error for him. First step should probably be to check the SMART data on all the drives.

BTW during Kickstart I got this: with error mdadm exited with status 127- any one have any update on this? i do not have redhat sub so can not see a damn thing over there and it is bugging like hell.
@corey smart shows up everything fine. I am simply re-installing to see if I messed up somewhere else.

Partitions Ext4? How are you setting them up? Beforehand or in Anaconda?
Anaconda. Ext4 and Ext3 same error.
Issue fixed. Bad partioning. After re-install fixed everything. Feels so good. Off to Grimaldis Pizza any one from NYC want to meet up?
