Firstheberg.com - Update of the network

Dear Members of LowEndTalk,

I am glad to post today that Firstheberg, french dedicated & VPS server provider has updated his network this week.
2x10 Gbps today against 2x1 Gbps yesterday. This update of our network is following our need of evolution and YOUR needs !

Now, every dedicated server has a minimum of 100 Mbps guaranteed (Between 100 to 300 Mbps guaranteed)

I let you try a download with our tool : http://speedtest.firstheberg.net/files/ and the Speedtest : http://speedtest.firstheberg.net/

If you have any question about our services, I let you contact me on private message.

Best regards,
Damien from www.firstheberg.com

You promised a dedi lineup refresh in July: http://lowendtalk.com/discussion/comment/651255/#Comment_651255
that should have resulted in addition of a $12 (9 EUR) server.

Also still no IPv6, still in "Prochainement" for more than a year...

  • @rm_ we are working on a new version of our dedicated server page on website. We will update our offers after this update.

About ipv6, it il now working technicly. We are just waiting the switch of our routers. It will be available when our new router will be operational.

  • What stone age router do you use that cannot do IPv6 default route and switch a /56 or alike...?

    Thanked by 1Infinity
  • I left you since my VPS was going down about 5x a day

  • @Cassa We worked on our VPS plateform. I am sorry that you have a bad experience with us and I let you contact me if you want try again a VPS

  • well, the 2 vCore2GB RAM30 GB of disk space OpenVZ100 Mbps *€ 1.99 + VAT / month is pretty cheap.

I'm not using Chrome, I mean, we aren't talking about Japanese encased in pictures here.. you shouldn't have to translate much to get the gist.

I look at FirstHeberg at least once a month... the dedi prices are still some bit higher than kimsufi for the low end and a lot higher than hetzner on the high end. I'd probably take the FH SSD Atom over Kimsufi's junk if my 20ms latency difference was reversed (france +20ms instead of germany)
