    I like minimal designs :)

  • Go to http://themeforest.net and you will find lot of quality designs for ~50 max :)

    Not unique...

Unless you find one that is so ugly, no one else would ever buy it.

Either he is not a good designer o he would be just editing a template from themeforest. Do show us what he gets done for you.

  • Sure, yes he either does a template from scratch example, https://hostsavor.com/ or he can edit a themeforest template so its ''unique'' as the above wants example , https://xznetworks.com

  • It totally depends on your requirements. Designers generally ask for 400$+ for a custom design, but hey, there's no rule for the pricing. Depending on the quality, the price would differ. If you are going to be serious about your company, i'd suggest you to be serious about getting a decent web-design aswell. 99Designs is a costly option for starters, but you do get professional work done.

There are other options like Freelancer, ODesk, Elance.. But it is crowded with mixed quality of designers. I'd say you better start looking for designers on dribble/behance. That way, you could choose the one you like.
