Received an email today:
"Due to the low demand for our VPS services. We will be closing all VPS accounts on August 9th 2014 CDT. Please remove any needed data by then. Sorry for the inconvenience."
No mention of refunds

Weird for a company operating for 7 years now to just give a week notice... according to their twitter they sent in an offer to LEB in May 2014 but seems they were never listed
