LEB in Belgium?

All,

There are few companies that offer VPS in Belgium.
And not a single one that offers LEB prices.

Anyone know the reason for that?

  • I don't think there is much of a competition in Belgium as theres no real need for VPSses hosted there.

  • BW and Power too expensive, we tried.

    @Gallus

    If you can spare going 5 miles west, OVH in Roubaix should do fine for you.
    There's plenty of hosts there.

    @liam

    Thanks.
    Belgonet does a 64MB, 1GB storage, 5GB BW for 2.99 euro per month.
    That counts as a LEB.

    Fusa.be are dedi's starting at 25 euro a month.

    @ElliotJ it's more about the footprint as in a flag on the map than really a functional need. As you said, plenty of hosts to choose from in France.

    @ William that would explain why most Belgians use The Netherlands of France.

    Well, also because the language is the same and because it makes like 5ms difference at the ping - After all you can still get a VPS anywhere and ask to have your WHOIS SWIPed to your Belgian data to get the flag ;)
