Hello, is someone running a minecraft server on MCH? Is it working great? Phil says it's easy to get suspended cause too high cpu usage.

If you're going to abuse CPU, go with @drserver. http://abusivecores.com/
Get somewhere designed for MC hosting or a host that has nodes specifically for it.
I think that was Phil's way of saying it would auto suspend.
If a kimsufi is in your budget, go for one.
Would DelimiterVPS 10$ / Monthly be better than MCH?
Go to a forest and punch the trees there!
What plan do you have?
I have no plan yet. But i might buy the 2GB special on LET. (5$)
Phil hates continues CPU usage like 5-10% for a period as he told me last time so i would say no.
Hmm, but would you recommend DelimiterVPS 10$ Monthly?
Too low CPU, passmark for the Atom 300 is around 200 whereas the N2800 is around 650.
get atleast a N2800 Intel Atom, MC Vanilla is running laggfree on that for about 5 Players.
And if you're not running Vanilla, use spigot instead of craftbukkit, it'll save you ram and cpu usage.
All under $10 http://www.planetminecraft.com/blog/top-10-list-server-hosting/
$2.50 http://spartanhost.org/
Don't know these hosts but very cheap maybe others can review them.
Shame he used a barely legible font for most of that post.
Yeh kind of unreadable with the green colour used.
Thank you
But i am going to try MCH for a month. (It's pretty cheap)
Unfortunately we do not allow game servers on our network
Your most welcome, sorry we could not provide hosting for mine craft, we only allow on dedicated servers, and they are way way over your budget so i did not even bother to mention them when you asked.
I can't recommend that as you'd get suspended for CPU abuse, most likely. http://overzold.com allows Minecraft and is pretty cheap aswell (I've hosted there personally and it works great) or just get a kimsufi.
I offer Minecraft hosting and there is quite a huge sale going on (EU location)

Might fit your budget.
It really all depends. Didn't you estimate 10 user or so? Depending on how you do things, you may hit the cpu scripts. As I said, why would it be fair to let 1 customer hog a shared resource when other customers have paid good money as well for service?
@drserver abusive cores not an option, or is it just no gameservers?
I will try to make it using as less cpu as possible.
To be honest you would be better off getting a kimsufi or a delimiter. Quite some time ago when my Minecraft server was first starting I ran it on the KS-4 option that OVH has and that i5 kicked some ass, a KS-3 would also get the job done.
EDIT: Feel free to shoot me a PM, I can share some tips on optimization.
Hi, Game Servers are No Go on abusive Cores. We are trying to keep as far as we get from DDOS attractive services.
There will be Special Game server product line launched in following 2 months which will cover that market segment. Prices will be in Low End Range.
Thank you
@drserver Wait NoGo? ups
But i think its paranoid to say its not allowed same with TeamSpeak3, its like you use Nukes to hit a Car. It's affecting all users and one from 100 Users getting a DDOS not fair.

I picked up the 4G plan a while back for a Tekkit server, ran fine and lag free with 20 people or so online at a time.
Sweet, my old company is on that list
I invite anyone to check out my new one if there is a Minecraft audience here!
Hey would a Multicraft Minecraft server work for your needs instead of a VPS?
@XxNisseGamerxX - as I said to you in PM those Atom servers are not going to be good for Minecraft. Way too slow.
