We’re happy to announce new datacenter in Riga, Latvia.

The new datacenter is connected with TeliaSonera’s 10Gbps fibers and has great connectivity both to Western Europe (DE-CIX) and Russia (MSK-IX). It’s running new hardware with Xeon E5 CPUs and Intel SSD drives in RAID10, connected with Juniper’s network equipment as in our Swedish datacenter.

    @yourserverse: What he means is, that the geoip databases are not yet updated. The AS is obviously in Latvia (http://bgp.he.net/AS52173) and the tracert goes to Riga as well:

    Some ip location websites or databases may give you wrong information about the Latvian network, as it was allocated by RIPE quite recently, but it should be corrected very soon automatically.

    Yes, but LATVIANDC30 works for any period.

    We support using FUSE (for example, for mounting sshfs or similar) in your virtual server.

    To enable it please open a support ticket. FUSE will be set up within 1 business day.

    Only wondering, why Latvian based IP reallocated early to Swedish, and Swedish will be Latvian.. that's interesting.. :)

    1. 64 IPv6 addresses per VPS. We are investigating how to allocate /64 subnets per customer, but it's not ready yet.

    2. At least until the end of the summer.
