Vultr.com now offers Private Networking for all users! Using Private Networking, your account's VMs can communicate with each other via unmetered private networking as long as they are located in the same region.

    It should also be noted our private networking is private. You can only communicate with your machines. Other customers instances are not reachable (unlike some of our competitors)!

    I think the point to be made here is that its 1Gbps shared between all customers, alot of the time private networks can be slower than the public network due to heavy usage by noisy neighbours taking advantage of the free bandwidth (e.g pushing backups).

    More fool them for keeping backups in the same facility.

    Interesting results, the bottom one is through private networking. Both in london, test server is still up if anyone else wants to try.
