Ok, ok... Anyway, a bit less would be cool.
no update?
Paying $34.95/month for cPanel but expecting to pay $17 for the server itself? Am I having a stroke? What planet is this?
I got a cpanel license for free for one year...
How so?
hackforums.com ;-)
Nah, second Hand... well not completely for free but most likely.
There is no $5/month. It's $10/month or $60/year.
Another vote for delimiter, even the atom might be ok for a low traffic cPanel server with a lot of unneeded stuff disabled...
Why not get a KVM VPS? cPanel VPS license is much cheaper!
@linuxthefish or run OpenVZ on one of the X5150's to qualify for VPS license of cPanel
Reported to internet police.
@Serverian That seems to be the defacto solution these days, just typing in some of our IPs to cPanel's checker shows that IPs of dedicated servers are licensed with VPS editions.
Ok... so anybody knows a good and cheap KVM seller hosting in EU, preferred Germany?
Xlvps, NodeDeploy, Vultr on Germany. There are many others too: http://lowendtalk.com/discussion/comment/604321/#Comment_604321
the KS-3 i3-2130 is faster than the X5150 (it's still listed on high end CPU on passmark actually)
it is 15 euros, $20.39. 8gb RAM, 1TB disk, 100mbps network, available in 120 seconds in quebec
oh, if you don't mind paying annually, use this:
