After my trips to China were completed, I didn't really have the need for it as a VPN anymore.
I have similiar vps (64mb) in bandwagonhost, and use it as rss feed reader (php+sqlite), for >100 news site: eg. cnn, bbc, engadget, google alert, top100 alexa news sites in my country, maybe >2000 new contents every day, cronjob every 5 minutes. Also for ssh tunneling.
@hashwaltz
Would you please tell which rss feed reader to use in a 64mb vps?
@darknyan
Good for VPN in Asia.
I would use it for a ssh tunnel, and sometimes vpn.
yeah it's good for VPN use as it was "Asia Optimized Routes". but as so complicated that chinese GFW is, right now the route to Multacom from china is not so good as before.
what ever, to use as private VPN or shadowsocks is still good enough, --> anyway it's free for 4 months
I will use for znc
Nah, I'm pretty sure they just got cheaper routes. We nagged them a few times and they fixed it a few times but cost...
We'll be looking for improvements later in the year.
you could buy multacom :-P
How much did you pay for it? @darknyan
$7.50
I'll end the offer in the next 4 hours. Stay tuned.
You can have it. PM me your cloudshards client email.
