    Then how does SWIP in RIPE work? The registration process seems really long-winded; can a provider just update the POCs with the ones I tell them to?

    @awson it's called "subnet assignment", otherwise it's almost the same. The provider will create a person handle for you in the RIPE database and put the needed info there and in the inetnum object. It's neither long nor complicated process.
