Munin memory usage. Do I need more mem?

jrdaijrdai Member

I am not sure if just max active matters or active + inactive? Which indicator should I look to know what max memory currently using? Currently on a 512M (minus 32M) VM.

  • Your memory looks fine, the green part is what's being used up by currently running apps. The rest is being used by linux to do caching and stuff. Nothing to worry about on that front.

Are you experiencing problems or were you just worried by the graph?

Can't see the image, but I'm running Munin on a 128MB VPS monitoring about 30 servers and RAM usage is fine, if that helps.
