BuyVM (LV) Down?
I've been trying to ping my site, the control panel, the support area (my.frantech.ca) and the public-facing website (buyvm.net), none worked.
I'm trying hard not to use LET as the helpdesk but I had to (because their helpdesk is down). Is anyone else's BuyVM VPS or hosting account down?
Edit: It's the Vegas location.

My NJ VPS is up, been using it for VPN all morning without a blip.
It's possible that they have some network/routing issues. I'm sure they'll be back online shortly. @Francisco
same issue here, perhaps network issue?
Ditto. Just tried to access shared hosting and their main site. No go on both.
it should be the Las vegas fiberhub DC network outage as i see.
the buyvm main site, client area, Stallion CP, VPS, shared hosting are all down.
hope it could be back soon.
Looks like a routing issue to me as well.
down for me
Isn't our end alas.
BGP session isn't coming up
Rob just replied to my ticket so we should have some progress in a few minutes hopefully.

@Francisco Are we going to get SLA credits/refunds (if any)?
You can request one if you like We'll mention it in the RFO i'm assuming.
Rob should be onsite in a few minutes.
Francisco
Down since 12:35 (BST Time) for me.
any ETA guys?
Fran is working on it..
Nothing yet. Rob thinks the optics on one of our ends is acting up. We'll know soon.
Francisco
Oh dear...
buyvm.net seems to be down
BuyVM have an SLA?
Always have.
We've honored it in the past when issues arise.
Francisco
Ah, not to mention it's still early morning (5AM) in LV.
@PetaByet Thanks for the twitter
@Francisco Thanks for the quick reply
Fiberhub claims their end of the link is fine and we're all lit up so
i'm getting them to shuffle card positions to see if we have a bummed
line card.
It wouldn't make sense since it's showing as 'link detected'.
Francisco
Can't really fight the windmills. We head a dead switch last week to in one of the locations. The DC replaced it in about 40 minutes though. Good luck!
Bah, I had a busted MC which was all lit up and all, but it wasnt converting anything. Since it was the property of the ISP and they wouldnt budge to come change it saying everything is fine, just my patch cable is not working, got another from another company which we were before with and dint come to collect when the contract was revoked.
BuyVM.net site is down but NJ is fine and operational. Hope it gets resolved.
I got Rob moving things to a different card to see if that helps. It's possible a single port on it is acting up.
So far he claims his side is fine and has replaced it as well as done the same on our end.
Already done multiple reboots on oru end but it's obviously not a software issue since V6 would be working most likely.
Francisco
So can you ping Rob's router from yours? Anything on the interface? Counters increasing? Errors?
Traceroute:
I'm unsure why a private IP (192.168.241.30) is involved.
Back up.
Oh it's back up!
Slabbing ?
