Looking for a cPanel VPS

MistravalMistraval Member
edited May 2014 in Requests

I'm looking for a good deal on decent cPanel VPS, which I'll be paying yearly for. Specs are based on what I already have at my current provider which I'm currently paying $175 yearly at WeLoveServers.net:

4 vCPU Cores,
30GB SSD,
1GB RAM + 1.2GB vSwap,
1TB Bandwidth,
1Gbps Port Speed,
SolusVM/OpenVZ,
1 CLEAN IPv4 Address,
1 cPanel / WHM VPS license

If he means 150YEN then that would be allowed.

    You should read the rules.

  • BlueVM do cPanel for $10 extra, and their servers are SSD cached.

Which rule are you talking about?

  • It is not allowed to respond to threads requesting an offer with "PM me" or "e-mail me" without having had a public thread on LowEndTalk.com with your provider details in it (in accordance with our guidelines) OR a public statement of which company you represent.

I already have many offer post .

VPS must not exceed USD$48/year recurring on annual billing, with no setup fee, if the provider has been in business for more than a year.

The pricing (over $48/year) and the PM me for price.

This includes a cPanel license for 12 months so I thought it would be ok.

I can see the logic, but Rules are Rules.

BuycPanel are allowed to post license offers at $13 month so I think there's an exception for licenses. Sorry if not. May be a mod could clarify.

That rule can be interpeted differently though, OP is looking above LET pricing (as he is already paying $175 a year currently), and "technically" this is not a offer post, or else we couldn't reply to more than 1 thread within 14 days. /logic

So, I think these offers are just fine.

    @mpkossen @Nekki to clarify please?

Mh whatever, most members here now seem rules can be read differently a million ways, same fiasco happened with the signatures; @Floris I know you took that rule one way and others another (me included but my nosig wasn't for visual impact).

Kevin also asked mpkossen (if not another) to make that offer before he posted it.

Anyways lets see what the mods say...

Personally, given that the op is asking for something we know can't be done at LowEnd* prices, I don't see an issue with the offers received.

That said, as this is a little bit of grey area in the rules, it's @mpkossen's call ultimately
