NECS rebranding to ServersNV

Dear customer,

In the last few months we have made some significant changes to the structure of NECS while for the most part this has not affected the VPS side of the business at all a significant part of the NECS business has been taken over by a much larger company while this is great news for the business it does effectively mean that the VPS element of NECS will split of completely and will now be known as Servers NV Ltd as the VPS element of the business simply did not fit with the new companies model.

The primary focus and 90% of all NECS revenue has always been local business to business IT support while the VPS element was a recent addition to the portfolio of services over the last few years, the same staff that have always looked after the VPS side of the business will remain in place and it will be operated under the new name to ensure continuity of service.

What this means to you as a customer is that you have support staff dedicated to just the VPS business rather than running multiple elements within NECS and due to the size of the newly formed company you will no longer need to pay VAT which will be good news for some.

The only down side is that we will no longer be able to offer windows licensing directly so anyone running a windows VPS will need to look to provide their own license within 30 days or look to migrate, we will obviously be as flexible as possible to assist with this, sadly with the total windows market within NECS being less than 1% of all customers it simply did not make business sense to keep this element of the business running.

Any old PayPal subscriptions will be cancelled you are welcome to set up new ones if you wish when your next invoice is due.

Update your links as soon as possible the migration is starting today none of your login details will change

He could have just changed the paypal address on the account .... pretty sure paypal will merge accounts on acquisitions too if you call them.

As I read it the vps line is no longer a part of NECS, a change of paypal address is a "proper" thing to do.

  • Hi guys,

we will continue offering the same support with the same team. We've changed the paypal account because Servers NV is a new Company.

In a few months we are going to expand with more node. ( US, Asia, Europe...).

    Thanks to everyone.
