The Online.net server should do what you want. Dedibox Classic + Gen 2
Its €35.99/pm with extra IPv4's €1.99/pm although you do get 1,208,925,819,614,629,174,706,176 IPv6 Addresses.
I've already got two 8gb boxes with them; the IP's are expensive (first 20EUR for business service now they want 150EUR for critical to give me more now) wouldnt be fussed but I am barely using 15% of the node.
Storage through iSCSI device ... Not acceptable !
All problems of shared hosting with all problems of dedicated hosting
With very very high installation fees and many other limitations
@wych do you really need a quad core? What CPU benchmark score are you looking for?
eed a quad core? What CPU benchmark score are you looking for?
Not got a figure in mind; I would mainly prefer a quad as I want to break to node up into containers, if a dual core container gets loaded I dont want to slow the whole node down.
I have a G1610 i'd let go for cheap, but that's only dual core. Quad cores are in a different budget category
How cheap is cheap and wheres it located?
Located in Varna, Bulgaria and i will tell you the offer on PM.
Sweet!
EDIT - Very nice offer, Thanks!
25 Euro equals
34.80 US Dollar
Ohhhhh okay
I'm going to piggyback.
I'd like any old piece of shit dedi in the UK. Literally don't give a crap about spec, just want it for RDP.
You need one of those?
I fail at online sarcasm.
I do not, and not fussed about Windows unless I can get a Windows box for less than a Linux one.
Also, I'm on a self imposed ban from Severian brands remember.
VNC = RDP?
My bad, I keep using it for shorthand because we use Windows servers at work, I'm going to use it as a Remote Desktop, most likely via NX.
That's far too powerful for my needs, but bloody tempting nonetheless.
If I could loose the 2 Kimsufi's it might work, but I'll have to have a think about if it's practical.
DotVPS is one of his brands tho. ;p
And Jack rdp is possible on Linux in fact I prefer over VNC. Xrdp, go search.
Yeh, I divested myself of my sole DotVPS container a couple of weeks. Somehow I'd avoided all the other brands.
