Whats the monthly traffic to the site like?
Depends on the hosting, sometimes you'll have a panel(OVH,Hetzner) to set your PTR records.
Mostly you'll have to do it trough a support ticket with most hosts.

Because you have no PTR authority.
It depends on who owns the IPs and whether the responsibility has been delegated down to you. Often it's a case of contacting your host...
Create a DNS A Record that points to the server IP, afterwards you request the rDNS/PTR of that server IP to be changed to the new DNS entry that you just created.
ovh will delegate them to you, but they are already blacklisted everywhere so dont bother trying
