From WP tester list:

I need to block two IP addresses: 38.99.82.222‬ 38.99.82.235 this guy stalks and plagiarizes my work how do I block his IP address on my website? It is lorieannj.com

Some days ago, my VPSes were heavily crawled by 38.99.82.191, and caused high load, then denied/24 block.

Drop with iptables or disable your Wordpress RSS feed

  • Maybe you can use, wordpress plugin :

    • Blog Protector : By Anurag Choudhari
    • WP-Ban : By Lester 'GaMerZ' Chan
    • IP Ban : By Jay Fortner

My blog also copied somewhere for many times. And therefore I use this plugin to reduce it :)

    hahaha

  • @DotVPS said: iptables -I INPUT -s 38.0.0.0/8 -j DROP

    Could always block it ;)

Can't say I would suggest it.

Sometimes a nuclear bomb to kill a fly is justified (not by me, but by others!)

IPtables can do this as well as CSF if you have it installed.

Block it as a /21, It is the smallest range for all ARIN/RIPE Assignments now.

If you are afraid of iptables you could also modify your .htaccess file to deny those IP's; it's super simple.

Then again, no matter what you do he is just a proxy away from gaining access again so it is not really that useful of a solution.
