SolusVM - Saving Credentials to Browser?

GaNiGaNi Member

I usually save my SolusVM credentials to my browser but this new version has been bothering me a lot, it's really a hassle to enter it again and again.

Oh, you mean the new bootstrap theme? I noticed that, nowerdays I barely use providers with SolusVM. It has something todo with the AJAX but I'm sure there's a way in plugins like LastPass to force it to fill out certain fields.

Btw., best not to save directly to browser, use something like LastPass.

I use the Mozilla's sync and have trust issues with 3rd party plugins.

  • How about Roboform? I'm using Roboform, so I just need to klik ti Fill and Submit

  • The new version saves passwords fine for me in Chrome.

This issue seems to be prevailing with FireFox only. I am using Nightly Build at the moment(30.a2)

  • I use the Open Source and free Keepass. There's a browser plugin for Firefox and Chrome. Works find with those Ajax sites.

  • Firefox 39 still has the problem to save the SolusVM's passwords.

Strange, FF seems to detect more password fields for me than Chromium.

Granted I only use solus on one host though.

    +1

    Roboform is the best.

I'll get someone to look at this as I've tested it on the latest Firefox and it does not detect. I've also tested it against v2 and it does seem to detect it https://youtu.be/qklVa7SzzL4

Maybe OP just runs dd test on his or her VM? Anyway pretty sure the default password is sent over e-mail when client is registered.

If their computer got hacked then they probably have bigger problems to worry about.

Come on, it was on SolusVM, couldn't have been important.

I've seen various interesting solutions kept on Solus. Including recently a Magento store with local CC storage :\
