  • Where is your TOS please? I think there should be a link to TOS page so that users can see which can be hosted in your VPS to avoid abuse the service (DMCA? EDEC? Torrent? etc.)

  • Hello nhocconan, sorry for that i see in the English version the Link is missing, now we have Update the Menu: http://colorhost.de/en/tos/

  • Are you reselling the dedicated servers?

No it is our own Hardware, the Routing comes from a Partner.

  • I'm with them for more than a year now with several important websites, and I can only recommend them :) Very reliable servers, very fast and helpful support.

It is nice. How about DMCA/EDEC copyright content take down process? I saw some offshore VPSes are advertising about DMCA ignored and not sure these are included in your case :-) One of my friends asked me for small video streaming site so I am checking some possible offer :-)

  • No http://colorhost.de has nothing to do with them :).

Germany is the wrong place for this ;).
DMCA and Streaming in one scentence is not good ;).

Understand, so it is the reason I suggested her to get dedi box but needs to check the TOS carefully before continuing. I am a LET user, so will help checking on this forum :-)

  • Hmm, which security question should I choose? :p

  • Hehe, let me translate for you:

How is the Born Name of your Mother?
    Your Favorite Color?
    Your first car?
    Where are u born?
The name of your first school?

Sorry, i will see that our web team will translate it soon.

I like it in German! Since I've had too much coffee this morning, I've gone and ordered one for the hell of it. Initial speeds are good, 250 MB/s I/O and good download - 20MB/s from cachefly, however upload is slow at 9.06 Mbit/s.

If anyone wants anymore benchmarks doing let me know.

At this Moments there are Backups running, try it in 5 Minutes than it´s finished ;).

For Support the response time is okay.

But you have to wait a bit longer about product information.

Anyway. Keep up the good work.

  • Yeah because the Accounting isn´t there at the Weekend.
No Problem with a Product or something like this.

  • IO Speed:

    OpenVZ:
    dd bs=1M count=256 if=/dev/zero of=test conv=fdatasync

    268435456 Bytes (268 MB) kopiert, 0,45415 s, 584 MB/s

    KVM:
    dd bs=1M count=256 if=/dev/zero of=test conv=fdatasync

    256+0 Datensätze aus
