From their website, it appears DigiPlus acquired BurstNET, as seen here, http://burst.net/. But, rumors tell otherwise.

I think the rumours are about the future of the company, not wether or not they were recently acquired... right? Or is there a rumour they lied about the buyout?

I've read from multiple resources that BurstNET was sold to DigiPLUS months before the move to Charlotte, NC, and I've read somewhere else that BurstNET was sold to DigiPLUS after the move to Charlotte, NC shortly before the move to Charlotte, NC. It appears it was sold and moved because they were behind in bills for their new location, in Dunmore, PA?

Right, I see what you mean. I was just confused at someone suggesting they lied about the buyout, read you wrong. The past... 8-12 months as a whole with Burst have been especially shady so who knows the 100% truth of what happened.

Strange to see them go though. Not because of the circumstances, just because they've been around for a good while.

Very strange, I agree. They were the first provider I worked with. When I heard, "Scranton, PA", I immediately thought, "BurstNET and VolumeDrive". It appears VolumeDrive is in a better position than BurstNET right now. We will see what DigiPLUS decides to do with that brand.

  • So, who's behind BurstNET now in the EU, with the old out dated website? http://www.burstnet.eu/

From what i read someplace, they were not bought as a company, but more like as assets. So, I believe the company itself went dead, but the assets and customers are taken over by digiplus.

  • We regret that we have had to temporarily disable new orders due to high demand. We hope to be able to accept new orders again soon.
