becuase HVM too heavy, you can use KVM
KVM For FreeBSD
Should I open another discussion about KVM now?
no, I think we can derail this thread as usual
ah yeah. it's funny that you all three that posted have KVM plans.
I don't know if Kazila manages it
terrible name....
do vmware support openbsd?
You could try http://xensmart.co.uk/ I'm with their xen pv and I'm very happy with it.
yes, but performances aren't so great, better use freebsd on vmware...
yeah i was using them months ago and they were great if i recall.
Well, I don't know if the name really matters on their servers... maybe I'm gonna make a VPS company named Overclock, I hope I get better speeds
i would never buy from a company named kazila.
I want a company with overclocked servers
(And no, don't come to tell me that they are unstable bla bla :P)
hvm is stupid
might as well just do kvm
make it four..
had one.. before i've got so many memory error.. :P
Evorack sells netbsd vpses using xen pv
why not openbsd?
We get our images from stacklet as their images are reliable . they don't do openbsd I don't think
We have them available, and will be launching a fully-featured Xen HVM service sometime next month, as soon as we work out a few kinks mentioned over here: http://www.lowendtalk.com/discussion/comment/51260
The reason why we do not offer them is simply there has never been a demand for them.
People tend to get the same performance from PV as HVM.
Add into that the fact that from the provider end its just another set of images to maintain and it doesn't really make sense to offer it!
Much like KVM, most HVMs are installed from ISOs, not templates. All you're using is...storage space. :-)
the host house (uk) has xen hvm and kvm both
