Hello LowEndTalk!

I'm looking for an affordable bare metal dedicated server on the US West Coast with a high core count and plenty of RAM. Value for money matters more to me than the newest CPU generation.

Preferred specifications:

  • Type: Dedicated bare metal server
  • CPU: Dual-socket Xeon, such as E5-2699 v4, Xeon Gold 6152, Silver/Gold Scalable or similar. I'm looking for 40+ total cores.
  • RAM: 256GB or more DDR4
  • Disk space: 2TB or more total
  • Disk type: SSD or NVMe (NVMe preferred)
  • Bandwidth: 40TB/month or more, or unmetered
  • Port speed: 1Gbps minimum, 10Gbps is a plus

  • Location: US West Coast only.

  • Budget: About $200/month, and I can stretch a little for a very good configuration

  • Billing: Monthly

I'm flexible on the exact CPU, RAM and disk layout, and custom configurations are welcome.
