Hi all,

Quick heads-up for Servitro customers, since some of you are already asking.

What happened:
On 1 Nov at 23:55 UTC one NVMe drive in one of our Frankfurt nodes (EPYC Node 1) stopped responding and dropped out of the system. Every VPS whose disk sits on that drive lost its disk at that moment. So they stopped, won't start, show I/O errors, or fail when you reinstall.

Who is affected:
Only the VPS on that one drive. Other VPS on the same node and all our other nodes are running normally.

What we're doing:
We're working on bringing the drive back online. Once it's back, we'll run a filesystem check and boot all affected VPS ourselves. If the drive is OK, your VPS comes back with all data as before, and you don't need to do anything.
If the drive turns out to be physically dead, we'll contact every affected customer by ticket and set their VPS up again.

ETA:
No exact time yet. We'd rather not guess. All updates go on our status page: https://status.servitro.com

Please:

• Don't reinstall or rebuild an affected VPS. It can't work while the drive is offline, and a reinstall would wipe your data once the drive is back.
• If your VPS is down and you don't have a ticket yet, open one at https://my.servitro.com and we'll check whether it's on this drive.

Update: The storage drive is back online and the main issue is fixed.

We're now starting all affected VPS one by one, so yours may take a little while to come back. You don't need to do anything, and please don't reinstall.
