Fourplex Billing System Outage Resolved

Between Wednesday and now, our (Fourplex Telecom LLC) had a WHMCS billing outage. This was due to data corruption on the (non-Fourpelx) VPS we used for our billing system. We needed to start a new WHMCS installation at a rival host.

No Ryzen or Storage customer data has been lost.

We worked tirelessly to restore the billing system. Having to add VPS customers manually meant we made many mistakes we needed to correct.

Customer passwords will need resetting as the password salts have changed. You can reset it here: https://billing.fourplex.net/index.php?rp=/password/reset

If you were on a promotion we will honor it. For orders before October 25, your coupon code will not be visible. We may add placeholder coupon codes within the next few days.

If you got a "New VPS" information from us between October 21 and October 25 3:00 PM, we were just recreating the VPS on the new WHMCS installation. Your VPS was not wiped. Existing VPS customers will see an OS as "AlmaLinux 8" in WHMCS, but your chosen OS is still installed with all your data.

However, Static IP Tunneling has unfortunately been discontinued due to low demand. If you are a static IP tunneling customer you can PM or email us and we can process a refund of your last monthly or yearly tunneling billing cycle.

On the plus side, we have most recently enabled ordering after this outage. The common LET coupon code is still available.

Again, we're very sorry about this, but this was outside of our control.

    Hello,

Sorry, but why are you sharing so much information? Just out of curiosity, where do you host your WHMCS? Shouldn't the changes you make to your panel or website be handled internally?

Anyway, love to see providers like this... Yeah, it's a bit too much, but not that much.

Does this mean there is no longer anything special about this host and you are yet another WHMCS VPS provider ? The one product which made you unique is gone ?

I want them to share more. Preferably upload a zip containing the entire billing system and database, thanks!

Fourplex WHMCS is hosted on IncogNet that deleted their VPS.
When exposed, they got $500 account credit valid for 30 days.

Did the panel get deleted by accident because ManDude was on an unstoppable late-night coding spree, making changes directly to live projects?
