For offsite backup of 10 TB or more, which services do you recommend

Please suggest services that take responsibility for handling drives and don't lose data. I've seen one too many "RAID crashes" take out incompetent service providers. Would really prefer someone with a solid history of delivering services over the years and accepts crypto. Location can be EU/US

    Hi @maverhick,

Unfortunately, these issues are more common with extremely cheap storage services, where providers may cut costs on hardware maintenance, redundancy, and backups.

For 10TB+ of offsite backup storage, I'd recommend prioritizing reliability and a provider with a proven track record over the lowest possible price.

What's your monthly budget for this? That would help us understand what options might be suitable.

    We got you covered:

All our backups servers are RAID-6 protected and we never had data loss on these RAID-6 servers. Only once we had a failed disk but RAID array restored after replacing the disk. Our disks are enterprise or data center edition.
We do accept crypto and we are established in NM, USA many years ago.

If it's one of multiple backup options, a Hetzner storage box offers pretty good value. They don't take crypto but I have no problem paying with most of the popular crypto cards there.

Backblaze has a couple of different solutions. Their B2 Cloud Storage might work in your case. Storing 10TB seems to be around $70/month. No direct crypto payment, but crypto card works well. Have used them for over a decade at this point without any issues.

For backups, you can use our object storage with a private bucket for $6/TB/month. We accept BTC.

Object storage uses erasure coding to protect data against drive failures, reducing the risk of data loss compared to relying on a single RAID array.

We’re currently running a promotion that includes unmetered bandwidth, making it a cost-effective option for off-site backups.
